Abstract:Steel slag fusion calcined gradient clinker technology can directly utilize granular steel slag to produce cement clinker, which is an important way to realize large-scale utilization of steel slag in cement industry. In this paper, the industrial trial production played a demonstration role for the future popularization and application of this technology. The results showed that the mineral phase distribution in clinker was gradient from inside to outside. When the steel slag content was 5% of the clinker, high quality steel slag gradient clinker could be produced, but when the steel slag content increased to 7.5%, the early strength of the clinker began to decrease, but the late strength increased rapidly. The technical problem that the water-soluble chromium (Ⅵ) content in clinker produced by steel slag exceeds the standard has been solved, and the industrial and stable production can be realized by further improving the batching and technology.
