6 Exploration of using silver mountain copper tailings raw ore for cement clinker production
YAN Meiguo, et al.
In order to explore the feasibility of a copper tailings ore in Jiangxi Province as an alternative raw material in the production of cement clinker, the properties of various raw materials of copper tailings ore and their effects on the clinker firing process under different dosage conditions were studied. The results show that, compared with other silica-alumina raw materials, copper tailings show fine particle characteristics and excellent grinding performance, which can reduce crushing and grinding energy consumption. The reactivity is better than sandstone and shale, and slightly worse than phyllite. When the amount of copper tailings is less than 1%, the burnability of the raw material can be improved, but excessive incorporation can lead to abnormal liquid viscosity and inhibit the development of C3S crystals. Due to the high content of harmful components such as sulfur and alkali and the relatively insufficient content of SiO2, the maximum allowable content of copper tailings raw ore in cement raw materials is 4.52%

10 Study on influence of alkaline activators on alkali activation behavior of fly ash
WANG Xia, et al.
In this paper, the effects of two alkaline activators, water glass and sodium hydroxide, on the alkali activation behavior of fly ash were studied. The viscosity changes of the system and the dissolution behavior of Si4+ and Al3+ ions in the liquid phase were tested. The phase composition, morphology, and reactant bonds of hydration products in the hardened paste were studied by XRD, SEM, and infrared spectroscopy. The results show that the alkalinity of NaOH solution is higher, the degree of corrosion on the surface of fly ash is more serious, and the dissolution efficiency of Al3+ and Si4+ is higher. In the alkaline environment, the dissolved ions reach the saturation degree of silicon and aluminum monomers, and polymerize to form aluminosilicate oligomer, and then form N-A-S-H gel. Water glass has a corrosion phenomenon on fly ash particles, and then the dissolved Al3+ and Si4+ undergo geopolymerization to form N-A-S-H gel. The scanning electron microscopes revealed that with the extension of reaction time, the surface of fly ash was wrapped with N-A-S-H gelatinous material, and become increasingly dense.

45 Research on determination method and application of extrusion work index based on bed crushing
ZHANG Linfei, et al
The roller press is widely used in the grinding operation due to its high efficiency and energy saving, but there is no simple and reliable method to predict the production situations. In this paper, a test method for measuring the crushing power index of materials is proposed, which simulates the closed cycle process of the crushing equipment such as roll press. It has the advantages of simple operation and less material consumption, and can accurately evaluate the crushing difficulty of materials. Then, the calculation formula of extrusion work index based on bed crushing is established, which can be used to provide theoretical basis for production fluctuation, efficiency evaluation and production control of roll press, which has important significance and practical value for the basic research of bed crushing technology.

78 Preparation and performance study of PE-ECC materials for bridge deck pavement of steel box girders
ZHANG Yongsheng, et al
In order to solve the problems of high brittleness, low tensile strength and easy cracking of cement-based materials in steel box girder bridge deck pavement, ECC for bridge deck pavement was prepared by polyethylene (PE) fiber, and silica fume was added to improve the dispersion of PE fiber, and the workability and mechanical properties of ECC were experimentally studied. The results show that the PE fiber is evenly distributed in the matrix, the 28 d compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength are 72.2 MPa, 4.15 MPa and 14.9 MPa, respectively, the ultimate deflection of the thin plate is 57.57 mm and accompanied by multi-crack cracking behavior, PE-ECC shows good ductility, and the properties meet the design requirements of bridge deck pavement materials.
