31 Study on auxiliary cementing materials of fly ash activated by microwave irradiation
SHEN Hongdong, et al.
Microwave irradiation activation has some unique advantages in improving the activity of fly ash, which is a kind of active excitation technology with high speed, low energy consumption and low carbon. In this paper, the effect of microwave irradiation power (500 W, 800 W, 1 000 W) on the activity of fly ash was studied, and the microstructure of fly ash was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microanalysis (SEM-BSE), and the influence mechanism of active fly ash on cement hydration was studied. The results showed that microwave irradiation can improve the potential activity of fly ash. The optimum microwave irradiation power was 1 000 W, and the activity index of 28 day was 80.89%. After microwave irradiation, the fly ash particles were partially or completely broken, and the amorphous phase content increased by 17.74%. The hydration heat of fly ash-cement irradiated by microwave can reach the final setting 0.56 h earlier, and the area of unhydrated cement at 7 days was 15.8% lower than that of original fly ash-cement slurry, which showed that the hydration process of cement was obviously accelerated

41 Experimental study on reuse performance of waste concrete recovered by water jet
Proper disposal of waste concrete is an important issue in urban solid waste treatment. It is an effective strategy that improving resource utilization and reducing construction waste by recycling waste concrete. In this work, water jet was introduced into the field of old building demolition and waste concrete recycling. The application potential of the recycled concrete components and the recycled coarse aggregates by water jet demolition was investigated, and the effects of fracture surface roughness on the connection performance of the recycled concrete components were analyzed. The results showed that the residual compressive strength of the recycled concretes after water jet demolition was 91% to 98%, which demonstrated that the effect of water jet demolition was negligible. The fracture surface roughness of the recycled concrete was between 1.10 and 1.31. The rough surface caused by water jet demolition was favorable for the connection performance of recycled concrete components. The coarse aggregates and the cement mortar could be efficient separation under the impact of water jet, and the attached mortar content of the recycled coarse aggregates was less than 10%.
