Influence of mineral composition of cement clinker on carbonization resistance of concrete

The experiment used four kinds of P·Ⅱ42.5R cement that with different clinker mineral composition to prepared three concrete systems, which used fly ash of class Ⅱ and limestone powder as gelled material: an unmixed system A, a mixed fly ash system B and a mixed limestone powder system C. The curing conditions of A are (20±2) ℃ and RH above 95% and the curing conditions of B and C are (15±1) ℃ and RH (60%±5%). After the curing (28 d), the accelerated carbonation test was carried out. The results showed that under the standard curing conditions of (20±2) ℃ and RH above 95%, the concrete prepared by the cement with a high C2S content has a better anti-carbonation performance. Under non-standard curing conditions of (15±1) ℃ and RH (60%±5%), the concrete prepared by the cement with a high C3S content has a better anti-carbonation performance. A well curing condition is important to improve the anti-carbonation performance of concrete

Study on application of ultrafine composite admixtures in cement and concrete of different strength grades

The ultrafine composite admixture used in this study is composed of 50% S95 mineral powder and 50% fly ash, which is obtained by mixing and grinding with ultrafine ball mill. The application mode of ultrafine composite admixture in cement, concrete of different strength grades and ultra-high performance concrete was explored, and its influence on the properties of cement and concrete was studied. The results showed that the superfine composite admixture can replace 10%~20% of P·O 42.5 cement, the 3 d strength of cement does not decrease, the 28 d flexural strength and compressive strength increase by more than 0.5 MPa and 10 MPa respectively, and other properties can meet the standard requirements. In the C30, C50 and C80 strength grade concrete, the ultrafine composite admixture completely replacing the mineral powder can improve the fluidity and compressive strength of concrete, and the durability of C30 strength grade concrete is obviously improved. When the ultra-fine composite admixture replaces 20%~50% cement in ultra-high performance concrete, the fluidity and 28 d compressive strength of ultra-high performance concrete increase first and then decrease, and the replacement amount of 40% is the best.

Industrial trial production of gradient clinker prepared by steel slag fusion sintering method

Steel slag fusion calcined gradient clinker technology can directly utilize granular steel slag to produce cement clinker, which is an important way to realize large-scale utilization of steel slag in cement industry. In this paper, the industrial trial production played a demonstration role for the future popularization and application of this technology. The results showed that the mineral phase distribution in clinker was gradient from inside to outside. When the steel slag content was 5% of the clinker, high quality steel slag gradient clinker could be produced, but when the steel slag content increased to 7.5%, the early strength of the clinker began to decrease, but the late strength increased rapidly. The technical problem that the water-soluble chromium (Ⅵ) content in clinker produced by steel slag exceeds the standard has been solved, and the industrial and stable production can be realized by further improving the batching and technology.

Study on influence of cement grinding methods on cement properties

This experiment selected cement produced by three commonly used grinding methods in industrial production to detect specific surface area, cement slurry flow, cement hydration heat, concrete performance, concrete compressive strength and cement particle gradation. The results showed that semi-final grinding is the optimal grinding method, and the effects of specific surface area and 45 μm fineness control index in production are basically the same. Combined with power consumption and other indicators, it is recommended to use semi-final grinding method for grinding, the specific surface area control to (370±10) m2/kg. Meanwhile the cement performance is optimized.
