Abstract:In order to boost the utilization of phosphogypsum (PG), the feasibility of using PG as a raw material for autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) was investigated in this paper. The influence of different PG dosages on the compressive strength, foaming performance, pore structure and hydration products of AAC was tested. The results show that the addition of PG can significantly increase the compressive strength and refine the pore structure of AAC. With the increase in PG dosage, the morphology of tobermorite changed from narrow grass-like tobermorite to leaf-like tobermorite. At a PG dosage of 54%, the compressive strength and bulk density of AAC are 4.9 MPa and 622 kg/m3, respectively, which conform to the Chinese national standard (GB/T 11968-2020) for compressive strength (A3.5) and bulk density (B06).
