Abstract:In order to address the issue of low toughness in Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), the paper investigates the effects of different fibers, shrinkage reducers and expansive agents on the performance of UHPC. The research results show that the fibers can improve the compressive and flexural strengths of UHPC to a certain extent. Among them, steel fibers have a better effect on enhancing the performance of UHPC than polypropylene fibers. Furthermore, the early autogenous shrinkage of UHPC with 2% steel fiber content is the smallest, with a 72-hour shrinkage rate of 1 165 με, a fluidity of 205 mm, a 28-day compressive strength of 173.4 MPa and a 28-day flexural strength of 35.4 MPa. The research results show that the introduction of fibers has a certain effect on improving the toughness of UHPC. This study has certain reference and application value for enhancing the toughness of UHPC.
