Abstract：The roller press is widely used in the grinding operation due to its high efficiency and energy saving, but there is no simple and reliable method to predict the production situations. In this paper, a test method for measuring the crushing power index of materials is proposed, which simulates the closed cycle process of the crushing equipment such as roll press. It has the advantages of simple operation and less material consumption, and can accurately evaluate the crushing difficulty of materials. Then, the calculation formula of extrusion work index based on bed crushing is established, which can be used to provide theoretical basis for production fluctuation, efficiency evaluation and production control of roll press, which has important significance and practical value for the basic research of bed crushing technology.
