Abstract:Utilizing an orthogonal experimental, the effects of net water-binder ratio, cement content, and the size of porous ceramic aggregate on the apparent density, continuous porosity, permeability, and compressive strength of pervious ceramisite concrete were studied. The results show a positive correlation between cement content and compressive strength. Cement content and the size of porous ceramic aggregate have a significant impact on the performance of pervious ceramisite concrete. The optimal combination is the net water-binder ratio of 0.30, cement content of 200 kg/m3, and the use of porous ceramic aggregate with a size range of 16~20 mm.
