Abstract:Stone powder is an important characteristic of machine-made sand, which is different from natural sand. The addition of stone powder to concrete has a significant impact on its workability, physical and mechanical properties, and durability. Driven by the concepts of environmental protection and sustainable development, mechanism sand has gradually become the mainstream of today’s society. However, due to limitations in manufacturing technology, machine-made sand contains a large amount of stone powder, which will seriously reduce the strength of concrete. This project aims to explore the changes in various properties of concrete and determine the amount of stone powder in the C35 concrete mix ratio through two different fineness modulus mechanism sand mixing methods. The test results show that when the mixing ratio of the two kinds of sand is 50:50, the sand powder content of the mixing mechanism is 15.8%, and the performance indexes of concrete are the best. Through the gradient test, the optimal mix ratio and the corresponding stone powder content of machine-made sand for concrete are obtained. The research results of this project will play a certain guiding role in the rational use of resources, the preparation of high-quality machine-made sand and the application of machine-made sand
