Abstract Base on abroad research ideas, the contrast test of new dry process cement clinker and proportioning were actual measured. The results indicated that the C2S content was main influence factor of clinker grindability, the other mineral phase, liquid phase and density had no significant effects. The grindability of rapid cooling clinker would be better than that of slow cooling, the effect of cement grinding process depended on grindability of clinker and raw material. Compressed finished grinding and combined grinding process could ignore all influence factors on grindability, grindability test could save energy over 30%~60%.
