Abstract Due to differences of chemical activity and microscopic morphology, different mixtures have different effects on the subsequent hydration process of sulfoaluminate cement and thus affect the strength, chloride ion diffusion coefficient, expansion rate, hydration heat and microscopic morphology of cement. This article studies the changes in various properties of cement after adding limestone, slag powder, and fly ash to sulfoaluminate cement at mass fractions of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% respectively. The physical property tests show that the properties of the same mixture changed regularly with different dosages, in which the addition of 5% slag powder has the lowest effect on the strength, the addition of 5% or 10% limestone powder can effectively resist the chloride ion diffusion, and each dosage of fly ash can produce a good micro-expansion effect.
