Abstract The curing rate and emission rate of fluoride and the change of clinker quality after cooperative treatment of electrolytic aluminum overhaul slag in cement kiln were studied. The results showed that the curing rate of fluoride in raw materials increased with the increase of the mixing ratio, which means that the amount of fluoride dissolved in clinker increased, and the fluoride maintained dynamic balance in the kiln system. As the disposal ratio of overhaul slag increased in the cement kiln, the initial setting time and final setting time of the clinker are both extended, the 3d compressive strength of the clinker is decreasing, but the 28d compressive strength is increasing.
