Abstract:The service life of concrete structure can not meet the requirements for use. In addition to the lack of strength, the main reason is the poor durability of concrete itself. Among them, the freeze-thaw cycle is a very important factor that affects and characterizes the durability life of concrete. In this paper, the effects of water cement ratio, different proportions of admixtures, addition of air entraining agent and standard curing age on the frost resistance of high performance concrete were analyzed. The results showed that the frost resistance of high performance concrete increases with the decrease of water cement ratio. The addition of admixture reduced the frost resistance of high performance concrete, and the more the admixture, the more obvious the decrease. However, the effect of compound admixture was better than that of single admixture, and the effect of single admixture of ground granulated blast furnace slag was better than that of single admixture of fly ash. The addition of air entraining agent greatly improves frost resistance of high performance concrete. With the extension of standard curing age, its frost resistance increased.
